Learn how to secure your account using multi-factor authentication (MFA).
MFA adds an extra layer of protection to your login. In addition to your email and password, you’ll need to enter a one-time code to access your account.
You can receive this code in two ways:
- Email (enabled by default)
- Authenticator app on your mobile device
You must have at least one method active at all times.
Choose your authentication method
You can:
- Keep email authentication only
- Add a mobile app as an additional method
- Switch fully to mobile app authentication
Using an authenticator app is generally more secure and does not rely on email delivery.
Enable mobile app authentication
When enabled, your authenticator app generates a new 6-digit code each time you log in.
Set up mobile authentication

- Go to your account Profile
- Click Enable mobile app
- Enter your password and log out to continue
You’ll be logged out and guided through setup on the login screen.
Complete the setup
- Log in with your email and password
- Install an authenticator app if you don’t already have one
(for example: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator) - Open the app and scan the QR code shown on screen
- Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app
- Click Continue
If you can’t scan the QR code
Click Trouble Scanning? and use the provided setup key to add the account manually in your app.
Save your recovery code
At the end of setup, you’ll receive a recovery code.
- Copy and store this code in a safe place
- It will not be shown again or sent to your email
- You’ll need it if you lose access to your authenticator app
Confirm that you’ve saved it, then click Continue to finish setup
Enable email authentication
A one-time code is sent to your login email each time you sign in.
Email authentication is enabled by default, but you can turn it back on if needed.
To turn email authentication on:
- Go to your account Profile
- Click Enable email
- Enter your password and confirm
Need help logging in?
