Allow attendees to opt in once and be added to future webinars you create, without registering again each time.

Auto-subscription is useful if you regularly host webinars for the same audience and want to make it easier for engaged attendees to join future sessions without registering again each time.

While the process feels automatic to the registrant, you remain in control. Auto-subscribed users are saved to your account, and you decide whether to register them for each new webinar you create.


How auto-subscription works

When auto-subscription is enabled:

  • Your registration form includes a checkbox labeled “Auto-subscribe to future webinars from this host”.
  • The registrant must check the box to opt in.

Important:
  • The option cannot be pre-selected by default.
  • Auto-subscription does not automatically add users to webinars. A webinar manager must complete the subscription step for each new event.
This gives you control over when auto-subscribed users are added to future sessions.

Enable auto-subscription

To enable this feature for a webinar:

  1. Go to the Registration step of the webinar configuration wizard
  2. Open the Auto-subscription to future webinars module
  3. Click Enable auto-subscription
  4. Save the module

Only registrants who select the auto-subscribe checkbox during registration are added to your auto-subscriber list.


View and manage auto-subscribers

To review auto-subscribers, go to Registrants > Auto-subscribers.

You can:

  1. Export the auto-subscribers list
  2. Remove individual auto-subscribers

Add auto-subscribers to a new webinar

When you create a new webinar, you can register previously saved auto-subscribers.

To do this:

  1. Locate your new event in the Webinars dashboard 
  2. Click Your links > AttendeesWebinars dashboard highlighting Your links button
  3. Under Auto-subscribe registrants from previous webinars, select a session from the dropdown
    • A notification bubble will display the total number of auto-subscribed users available.
  4. Click Subscribe

Important:

Auto-subscription must be enabled in the new webinar’s Registration step. Otherwise, the auto-subscription option will not appear in Your links.

After clicking Subscribe

  • All saved auto-subscribers will be registered for the selected session in your new webinar.
  • The dropdown and button disappear once the process is complete.

Auto-subscribed registrants will then receive the webinar’s confirmation email with:

  • Webinar topic
  • Scheduled date and time
  • Unique access link

You can customize the confirmation email under the Notifications step of the webinar setup.


How attendees opt out

Every email sent from your account includes a mandatory unsubscribe link in the footer, allowing attendees to opt out at any time.
