Before promoting your webinar, run a complete test to make sure the registration flow, webinar experience, and follow-up messages work as expected.

Because EverWebinar runs automated sessions, testing focuses on what attendees experience, not the presenter's setup.

Why test your webinar

Testing helps you:

  • catch issues before attendees experience them
  • verify that emails, links, and automations work correctly
  • ensure a smooth and professional webinar experience

A full test reduces last-minute issues and improves attendee confidence.

What you will test

A complete test includes four areas:

  • Registration and emails
  • Webinar room experience
  • Replay and follow-up
  • Integrations and tracking

Complete all four to validate your webinar setup.

Test Registration and Emails

Start by testing how attendees sign up and receive access.

  1. Open your attendee registration link from Your Links → Attendees.
  2. Review the registration page layout and messaging.
  3. Register using a valid email address.
  4. Confirm you are redirected to the confirmation page.
  5. If a survey is configured, open and submit a test response.
  6. Check your email for the confirmation email with your access link.

Test the webinar experience

Next, test the automated webinar from the attendee perspective.

  1. Use the access link from your confirmation email.
  2. Wait for the session to start and enter the countdown page.
  3. Enter the webinar room and start watching the broadcast.

While watching the webinar, verify:

  • Video playback works correctly
  • Chat or question box functions as expected
  • Polls, offers, and other injections appear at the correct time
  • You can interact with all configured elements
  • If a product offer is configured, complete a test purchase flow.

Test replay and follow-up

If replay is enabled, test the post-webinar experience.

  1. Check your email for the replay access email.
  2. Open the replay link and confirm the video loads correctly.
  3. Test the chat or question box (if enabled).

Test integrations and tracking

If you use integrations or automation, validate them as part of your test.

After testing, review your session logs and analytics to confirm that your activity was recorded correctly.
