Release Notes - WebinarJam & EverWebinar

Product Key: WJ = specific to WebinarJam, EW = specific to EverWebinar, WJEW = applies to both services.

Improvements

  • [Live Room] Presenters can now enter the live room faster with a streamlined prelaunch checklist that cuts down on initialization steps. This means you can get started with your webinar more quickly and efficiently. (1855 WJ)
  • [Registration] We’ve added a search box on the registration page, making it easier for attendees to find their local time zones and view event schedules in their own time. This helps reduce confusion and speeds up the registration process. (2090 WJEW)
  • [Registration] To prevent duplicate registrations, we’ve introduced a buffer that stops multiple sign-ups from happening at the same time. This ensures your leads won’t accidentally register more than once if they double or triple-click the button. (2310 WJEW)
  • [Replay] Now, when you’re selecting live video sessions for download, you’ll see the total runtime displayed in the drop-down. This gives you a clear view of how long each replay recording is at a glance. (2199 WJ)
  • [Analytics] Analytics screens are now more user-friendly. Dropdowns default to showing “all” results, making it easier to get a comprehensive view of your data without extra clicks. (1879 WJEW)
  • [Analytics] The scale of the minute-by-minute attendee graph in your analytics has been enhanced for better trend insights. It now scales to the total length of your webinar (X-axis) and the maximum number of attendees (Y-axis). (2185 WJEW)
  • [API] For accounts that become inactive, API access is now automatically disabled. If the account is reactivated with a new subscription, API access can be requested again. This helps keep your integrations secure and up to date. (76 WJEW)

Fixes

  • We’ve refined how we track live event analytics to fix a problem where the highest attendee count on the graph didn't match the total overall. This update ensures more accurate engagement stats across all modules on the Analytics page. (2302 WJ)
  • An issue where the attendee count in EverWebinar didn’t match the actual number of active viewers has been fixed. Moderators will now see accurate attendee numbers in the Control Panel during a webinar. (2269 EW)
  • We’ve corrected how time zones are displayed in registrant analytics. EverWebinar and WebinarJam's Right Now or Always On events will show times in each registrant’s local timezone, while all others will use the webinar’s configured timezone. (2270 WJEW)
  • For our Japanese-speaking users, we’ve updated the format of event dates and times on registration pages to ensure they’re clear and consistent. (2219 WJEW)
  • We fixed an issue where the Harare time zone (GMT+2) was incorrectly linked with Cairo (GMT+3). Users scheduling a webinar in Harare will now experience the correct timing.
  • A bug where old chat messages were sometimes retained in EverWebinar has been fixed. This issue occurred when attendees stayed in the room after the event ended, but now the chat will be cleared as expected. (2202 EW)
  • We fixed a conflict where the onboarding tutorial was overlapping with the EULA pop-up. Both can now be completed without any trouble. (2096 WJ)
  • The AI usage calculation has been adjusted to correctly enforce the quota per account. All users in a single account share the total AI quota more accurately. (1811 WJ)
  • We made minor updates to the dark mode theme to correct some visibility issues, ensuring that all elements are clear and easy to see. (2200, 2312 WJEW)
  • We resolved an issue where switching to a question box for future EverWebinar events wasn’t working properly if chat simulation was previously enabled. Now, these settings can be changed without any problems. (2130 EW)
  • An issue that caused the video preview to display twice during a live event for presenters and moderators has been cleaned up. You’ll now see a single, clear preview. (1685 WJ)
