Your account email serves as your login, the default sender for webinar notifications, and the host presenter’s contact information. When you update it, these details automatically apply to future webinars, but existing webinars need to be updated manually.
This guide explains what changes, what doesn’t, and how to update your email effectively.
Key details about changing your account email
- Changes applied automatically:
- New webinars: The updated email is used for host presenter details and notification sender info.
- Billing notices: All account billing communications go to the new email.
- Existing webinars remain unchanged:
- Email addresses for the host presenter need manual changes to update the notification emails for webinars already scheduled.
- Customized page designs that include presenter information need manual changes for webinars already scheduled.
- Ownership and access:
- The email in your profile verifies account ownership. Changing it affects login credentials, billing, and security. Use only valid, accessible email addresses.
